Music at St Mary's has
important elements of traditional and modern styles. A small number of
dedicated choir members lead the congregation in hymn singing at the 10.15
service every Sunday. Occasionally, as their
rehearsal schedule permits, our youth group 'Euphoria' performs at the 10.15
service instead; sometimes four hymns and sometimes less. Their repertoire is
widening and they are a welcome addition to our worship through music. Our choir has had a long
association with the Royal School of Church Music, and our hymns each Sunday
are chosen with guidance from that institution. We would be delighted to
welcome new members, whether adult or younger, both to the choir and to
'Euphoria'. |
