St. Mary's has a vibrant community which aims to bring God's word and the teaching of Christ to Penwortham.  In addition to the regular worshipping community seen every Sunday and Thursday we have a number of groups who further the aim of the church in so many ways;

We have Young People's Ministry,  a Scripture Study Group, YOUnity ( a group which brings people together in a more social context), Church Cleaning Team, a Magazine team and a Churchyard team.
